　　To start with,by touring the historic sites,we have a better understanding of the city and expand outlook.The first hand experience of visiting historical sites is memorable,and we cannot get such experience in other places,but here exactly in this city.Maybe,we won’t have another chance to visit this city again in a short time.Therefore,it is important to make good use of the time and make a choice that we will not regret.Walking around the old palaces or relics of historical architecture,we expose ourselves to the past and connect us with history.The culture and wisdom of ancient people in this city will be unveiled in front of us.With a better understanding of a city’s history,we are able to know how it develops.For instance,while traveling to Barcelona,what we should definitely not miss is the architectures of genius designer Guadi,such as Sagrada Familia and Park Guell.His works tell people how passionate Barcelonans are and how much they respect nature and freedom.

　　Secondly,though shopping and dinning in local restaurants are both necessary for a trip,they are not indispensable if time is limited.Often,we want to buy some souvenirs in local market either for friends or for ourselves.However,before payment,it is important to consider whether there is still space in the suitcase or at home for the souvenirs,and whether the souvenirs will be put on the shelf and left unnoticed henceforward.The purpose of buying souvenirs is to memorize the visit to a new place.But there are other options,like taking photos.Therefore,if there is not enough time,shopping on some markets can be scored out from the list.Furthermore,to have a taste of local food is a must while traveling,but it is unnecessary to eat in restaurants or cafe.Especially,if the restaurants or cafes are too crowded,the dinning experience cannot be guaranteed.An alternative is to grab some local food from food stands at historical sites or train station when we have to leave.It saves time.

　　To sum up,if time is not enough for too many activities while we travel to a new place,it is much more meaningful to visit historical sites rather than shopping or going to restaurants and cafes.
